During the 2018 Digital Fabrication Seminar+Laboratory course our ASK and Information Architecture speciality students were exploring the impact of different fabrication methods/strategies on the final form of an object.
This year to make things more creative, each group was asked to design lamp and create it using different techniques. Walk-through entire design process enabled to learn and use interdependencies between designed form and production process. The use of algorithm-aided design accelerated preparing fabrication documentation.
