Mateusz Płoszaj-Mazurek is a researcher and architect specializing in sustainable architecture, life cycle assessment (LCA), carbon footprint analysis, and computational design. His work focuses on the application of optimization, machine learning, BIM, and parametric design methods to support environmentally informed decision-making in architecture and the built environment.

With over a decade of professional experience in architectural practice, he combines expertise in architectural research and software development to create digital tools that integrate sustainability metrics – including solar access, daylight availability, embodied carbon, and energy performance – into architectural workflows. Alongside his academic activities at Warsaw University of Technology, he collaborates with One Click LCA on the development of sustainability software for the global construction industry.
