During this year’s Night of the Museums on Saturday, 16th of May, ASK was present two installations Modular Light Cloud, with amazing performance 'Glow’ with Liwia Bargieł and our new Robo-Meso-Structure. The new installation is a prototype of a project created during experimental project on second year of ASK. Part architectural, part mechatronical composition is formed by hexagonal panels based on wooden fame and mesotructure surface, where otherwise rigid material is cut in such a way, that it becomes flexible. It required a high level of precision, that would not be possible to achieve without the use of CNC tools and 3d printing small elements to join triangular panels forming the hexagonal shape. Each of created 'cells’ is moved by a pneumatic biomimetic muscle created by FESTO.
