Our recent trip to Wrocław wasn’t just a site visit—it was the start of a collaborative journey. First semester students from ASK, together with some students from the Architecture Faculty at Wrocław University of Technology are exploring the possibility of designing an affordable, co-op housing project for employees at Wrocław’s Institute of Technology.
From touring iconic sites like Sępolno and WUWA to diving into hands-on workshops, we’re laying the groundwork for a cooperative housing model that aims to be a genuine alternative to conventional apartment options in Poland.
Under the guidance of dr. inż. arch. Jakub Szczęsny and dr. inż. arch. Jerzy Łątka from Wrocław University of Technology, our inter-academic teams from Warsaw and Wrocław are crafting masterplans and format ideas. Stay tuned for the final presentations at the exhibition in January 2025 at Warsaw University of Technology!
Thank you, Wrocław, for the warm welcome and inspiration!
