Students in the „Information Processes in Architectural Heritage” course of the ASK program are currently working on a hypothetical reconstruction of the Międzygórz Castle.
Following an on-site study to document the castle’s surviving ruins, the project group is translating physical evidence, historical sources, and architectural comparisons into digital reconstruction models. Because major portions of the castle no longer exist, the work relies on a combination of rigorous historical research and comparative analysis of contemporary medieval and Renaissance structures.
By synthesizing these diverse information processes, students are actively testing multiple architectural interpretations and developing alternative models to visualize how the castle may have originally appeared and transformed throughout its history.
