During a session in the Spatial Planning for Disruptive Times course, our students faced an unusual challenge: to envision how Warsaw might evolve if it lost its capital city status. The students divided into three groups and focused on key areas with the highest concentration of capital city functions and buildings:
-Plac Trzech Krzyży – an area with a high density of ministries, embassies, and the Sejm (Parliament).

-Plac Na Rozdrożu – a major transportation hub and crossroads of the city.

-Rondo ONZ / Rondo Daszyńskiego – the business center, symbolizing modern Warsaw.
Authors: Palina Lapuka, Daria Maksymchuk, Fernando Elton Manuel
Each group analyzed how these spaces might transform in a scenario where capital city functions were relocated. This task was not only an exercise in imagination but also a deep exploration of urban planning, economics, and social dynamics.
