Arriving at the main train station in Plock you find yourself in a residential area without a specific orientation towards the city center. For tourists or other visitors of the city that don’t know the place this situation embodies an obstacle and can cause an unconfortable feeling towards the town.
Our concept following the idea to plan a gate to the city, is to create an easier acces to the city center by creating a green belt, wich starts at the railway station leading to the municipal stadion.
The green path, framed by mixed used buildings is functioning as a land mark giving people a direction to orientate to. This project concerns not only the town but as well the region, as the improvement of the railway system is part of our concept.
