Piaseczno is a suburban town located approximately 16 km south of Warsaw. In recent years we could observe a rapid increase of its inhabitants which resulted in a fast development of the whole area. Piaseczno is an attractive place to live, mostly thanks to affordable real estate and its peaceful character, however its potential is not yet fully exploited. Even though it most certainly benefits from well developed and direct connections with Warsaw, there are still plenty of unresolved issues that need immediate intervention.
Piaseczno has a chance to become a modern suburban town, that is competitive, and vibrant. We are convinced that the citizens are the key to its rapid change. They are the best experts in solving local problems, only if they truly believe in the validity of their ideas. This public participation program consists of three separate but interconnecting initiatives:
