General description of the course
The objective of these lectures is to introduce the principles of computer operation, teach primary information technology topics and programming principles on a basic level. The lectures encompass questions in the realm of computer architecture and organization as well as human–computer communication and data transfer. The lectures shall also present principles of building algorithms, their structures, and notation using programming languages. Successive generations of programming languages and scripting languages shall be presented as shall principles of programming and elements of structural and object–oriented programming.

Classes will be conducted in the form of theoretical lectures supported by examples of algorithms, program fragments, scripts, and their application in architectural practice.
