General description
The goal of this seminar is to introduce student to the basic principles for conducting scientific research, designing studies and documentation, and the presentation of results in the form of written work. The shaping of skills for selecting sources from literature, formulating the research problem, and selection of ways to reach conclusions that shall be useful for the proper shaping of written semester papers as well as the final master’s essay.
In the initial phase, classes shall be conducted in the form of theoretical lectures, followed by open discussions based on analysis of essay fragments, conference publications, and short texts prepared by the students.
The seminar shall be concluded with a series of individual consultations conducted using the e–learning platform, whose subject shall be the semester essays relating to the architectural design.
